When I miss my exit on SZR and I have to drive forever to get back

When I go to Barasti on the wrong night

When my friend surprises me with his pet Cheetah

When I bring visitors to the Palm Jumeirah for the first time

When my friends tell me they’ve been out on a yacht the night before

When an expat says they prefer to walk instead of drive

When somebody in the fast lane on SZR is driving slowly

But when they move out of the way to let me pass..

When I see a parking spot open up near the mall entrance

And after I park… 

When my Emirati friend picks me up

When I get the bill at La Petite Maison

And when I joke that I’ve just spent my entire salary on dinner…
